Wow, in 4 days it's going to be a brand new year! and you know what that means...a whole nother year to improve. There's a lot of stuff I want to accomplish in 2014, I swear the list is like miles and miles long haha but for the most part I want to continue to grow in my artwork. It's always been slow goings for me because I'm easily distracted or I just blame it on no motivation. I want to try and change that this new year. Since I hadn't started Nanowrimo like...at all I thought I would still at least try to do something challenging in the month of November so I thought I'd go with the 30 day character challenge. I started late because I couldn't decide which one I wanted to do lol so so far I only have 2 characters and it's the 6th day of this month but I'm ok with that. One thing that I really want to try and see if I could...improve on is flow and movement. Most of the time my characters are just standing rather stiff, smack dab in the middle of the page. Well it's friday and I'm actually typing this while I'm sitting at my desk at work. I've been working on my art, like I said I would. A lot of the things I've been listening to and watching have been really helping get my mind juices flowing you know. I've really gotten into the podcast Welcome to Nightvale. I think it's been around for a bit but it just recently started getting recognition. It's basically a radio show based in a fictional town that has a LOT of weird goings ons....it's fun lol. Like the title states today is payday for me so I'm getting ready to order this artist anatomy book that I've heard nothing but good things about it
